Cairo tour from Hurghada

If your hotel is situated in Hurghada, a bus will take you from your hotel, at the time received together with the confirmation of the booking of your trip. When everybody is present on the bus, you will travel to Cairo. Once arrived in Cairo, a tour guide will join you and this during the entire trip in the city, visiting the museum of antiquities for about 90 minutes the entry fees is included after museum driving to the pyramids street to get a Delicious lunch, then the time to explore the pyramids of Giza and the sphinx, you will have a chance about 30 minutes to see the papyrus institute and driving back to Hurghada.

Citadel of Salah El Dein

Your sightseeing of Cairo will start with a panoramic view of the Citadel of Salah El Dein. It was built by Salah El Dein El Ayouki in 1183 AD in the medieval castle style. It is the largest fortification in the Middle East and rises majestically at the highest point of Cairo leaving visitors with impressive views across the city.

The Pyramids of Giza

The Pyramids of Giza are the only one of the seven ancient wonders still remaining to this day. It is believed that they were built to serve as an eternal resting place of the pharaohs.
The oldest and largest of the three pyramids was build on demand of Khufu or named also Cheops. The middle-sized pyramid was built by Khafre or also called Chefre, the son of Khufu. And the third and smallest one was built by Menkaure alias Mycerinus, the grandson of Khufu and son of Khafre.
Despite the fact that throughout the millennia ancient civilizations built incredible structures across the planet, the Pyramids of Giza outshine nearly all of them.

Sphinx

The Sphinx is situated at the Giza Plateau adjacent to the Pyramids of Giza on the West Bank of the Nile River. It is the largest monolith statue in the world. The Sphinx is an immense stone sculpture of a creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human. It is also the oldest monumental sculpture and it is commonly believed to have been built by Khafre.
Sphinx were built by Egyptians to guard important areas such as tombs and temples.

 

Egyptian Museum of Antiquities

Next on the agenda is the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities that is housing the most valuable collections of artifacts and antiquities of its kind. The more than 100.000 items in the museum include some 1.700 artifacts from the tomb of Tutankhamun, including the solid golden mask that covered the pharaoh’s head. Other treasures to be found at the museum are reliefs, sarcophagi, papyri, funerary art and the content of various tombs but also jewelry, and ornaments of all kinds. Sculptures and statues are also to be found at the museum.
An entire hall is dedicated to the royal mummies of 11 kings and queens.

The trip starts 2:00 am and ends at  10:00 pm .

 After the visit of the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, a lunch served in open buffet is served at an Egyptian local restaurant.
